Cora Shipley, owner of Hearts Delight in Old Town Clovis, announced that after more than 20 years she has moved her gift shop to a new location---and launched a new eatery with her husband, Bill.

Hearts Delight moved into the space that has been known for many years as Victoria Rose Cottage. Historically this building was known as The Old Hotel. The new business will be known as The Old Hotel Bistro and Hearts Delight. Hearts occupies the front rooms of the space with gifts, collectibles, decorations, flags and selected women’s apparel. Building upon a successful gift shop for more than twenty years, Cora will continue offering items her customers seek, plus new items that fit the space.

Make this St. Patrick’s Day more about St. Paddy and less about the paddy wagon. If you’ve been drinking on St. Patrick’s Day, AAA Northern California will take you and your car home for free.

AAA’s Tipsy Tow program is open to everyone. You do not need to be a AAA member to take advantage of this service to the community.

AAA will offer the service to drinking drivers from 6 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th to 6 a.m. March 18th, potential passengers, party hosts, bartenders, and restaurant managers can call 800-222-4357 (AAA-HELP) for a free tow home of up to ten miles. Just tell the AAA operator, “I need a Tipsy Tow,” and a truck will be on its way.
