Figs Take Center Stage at Tonight's Farmers Market

Join your community every Friday night in Old Town for the weekly Farmers Market 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m.

This is the first Fig Party!  The California Fig Advisory Board hosts this new event.  Much like the Peach Party and The Pistachio Party from earlier this summer! Join the California Fig Advisory Board staff and friends who will be providing samples of foods using figs in the center of 4th and Pollasky.  Chef David Pol and Chef Christian Romero from the Institute of Technology Culinary Arts School will be on hand demonstrating how to use figs in recipes.

Chris Shackleford of Trelio’s and Dustin Stewart from Dusty Buns will have a Chef Competition at the corner of 4th and Pollasky dueling it out with their recipes!  KMPH FOX 26 Liz Gonzalez will be one of the judges!

Music will be provided by Mel Mason and we’ll be featuring artists and food trucks South of Fifth Street.
