"Welcome Home Vietnam Vets" Celebration This Weekend In Tulare

Hundred are expected in Tulare this Sunday, March 25th, to pay a fitting tribute to Vietnam Veterans.

The "Welcome Home Vietnam Vets" celebration will be at the Tulare Veterans Memorial Park (behind the Veterans Memorial Building, 1771 East Tulare Ave.).

All veterans, their families, and members of the public are welcome.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. and goes through 6 p.m.

Tickets are $2.00 per person.

There will be food booths, so bring your appetite.

A number of performers will take the stage including Jeremy "ELVIS" Pearce, Ballet Folklorico Del Lago, Aztec Dancers, and the Hmong Cultural Dance Troop.

Buchanan High School's production of Rodger's and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA is on stage right now!

The musical is playing at the Mercedes-Edwards Theatre in Old Town Clovis - 5th Ave/Clovis Ave. This weekend is the final run for the show.

Box Office Opens at 6:30, Doors at 7:00 and the show starts at 7:30

The One of a Kind Antiques and Collectibles Fair of Clovis is back!  

Sunday, March 25th

It’s an all day affair in Old Town Clovis along Pollasky Avenue between Third Street and Bullard Avenue from 8am-4pm.

Admission is Free, as always.

If you like motorcycles then this is your weekend! Sunday, in Old Town Clovis, hundreds of motorcycles will be on display – from custom to stock, baggers to sport. Spectators get to vote on their favorites in each class.

This is free to those who want to look and dream from 8am-4pm.

There’s a $10 fee for those who want to show their bike. That price includes a pancake breakfast.

Saturday, April 14th 9am-6pm &

Sunday, April 15th 9am-5pm.

This traditional weekend event is one of the largest craft shows in Central California. Turn-of-the-century Old Town Clovis provides the perfect setting for BIG Hat Days and includes all types of music, 400 arts and crafts booths, international food fair, family carnival, pony rides and so much more! This event draws over 140,000 people! Everyone is encouraged to wear a hat!

Remember, admission is free. Just bring a few bucks for drinks, food and other must haves!
