Aquarius Aquarium Institute’s next Aquatic Life Presentation will be this Saturday, October 5th, at 10:00 AM in cooperation with the Fresno State Biology Club, and will feature Dr. Bruce Carlson, retired Science Officer and one of the first team members hired to design and build the Georgia Aquarium. This is a free event that will be held at Fresno State’s Leon S. and Pete P. Peters Student Educational Center auditorium next to the Save Mart Center at Shaw and Woodward Avenues in Fresno.

Premiering in 2013, Fresno Wine Quest™ is Central California's newest wine tasting event and will host one of the finest silent wine auctions in the state. Benefiting The Arc of Fresno and Madera Counties, this year's event is gearing up to be a great start! We're expecting more than 30 fantastic west coast wineries this year along with some of the finest cuisine our valley has to offer, and as always, there will be live music and dancing.

Enjoy music performed by Tom Scott and Friends, as well as dancing to finish off a great afternoon. Dancing isn't required - but highly recommended.

Pizza With a Purpose at KMPH Fox 26 / CW KFRE 59 October 4th

KMPH/KFRE and Papa Murphy’s have teamed up to support the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation (AARBF) with “Pizza With a Purpose.”

For more than 40 years, the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation has provided burn survivor services and burn prevention education to the residents of California.  

Papa Murphy’s Pizza will be in front of KMPH Fox 26 / CW 59 KFRE giving out free samples of their pizza 11:30am-1:00pm.

Those who stop by can make donations to AARBF and will get a FREE Large 1-topping pizza coupon for any donation of $5 or more.

Then later that same day, stop by Fresno-area Papa Murphy's locations 4-6pm and meet local firefighters and watch your pizza being made right before your eyes. A portion of all pizza sales will go to AARBF to support survivors in the Central Valley.

And, along with that, you can also find lots of beautifully restored British cars - courtesy the Valley British Auto Club.

You can find them all along Pollasky between Bullard and Third from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Today, Sunday, September 29th.
