Just giving you a heads up on the EYE-Q California Classic Weekend that will affect your weekend drive because of the bike and marathon route.

Saturday is the Bike Ride which leaves from Chukchansi Park at 7am. This will close Highway 168 from 7:30-9:30am along the ten mile stretch between McKinley and Shepherd Avenues. 

Sunday is the Half Marathon and Relay that will take runners through downtown Fresno.

The Amgen Bike Tour of California arrives to Clovis today. Some are suggesting you just take the day off so you can enjoy all the action! You make that call, but here’s all the info so you can decide.

We’re part of Stage 4 which begins in Sonora, ending this afternooon, May 16th, in Clovis at Pollasky and Bullard. The time is guestimated for mid afternoon.

 It sure was exciting back in 2009, so if we’ve learned anything – get there early to get a spot along the route so you can see well. The festival atmosphere includes food and merchandise booths too.  

The Clovis Rodeogrounds is a busy place. Now that the rodeo is over, the place is getting ready for Saturday's annual Brewfest.

The party runs from 4-8pm. Tickets are $25 per person.

There will be 30 different beers and live music.
