Thanksgiving at Clovis Senior Center

Thanksgiving at Clovis Senior Center

On Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, the Clovis Senior Center, Salvation Army and Pappy's Fine Foods will be holding their annual community Thanksgiving feast at the Clovis Senior Center (850 Fourth Street). Lunch will be served at noon. This free event is open to all ages, and entire families are welcome.

For more than 25 years, this community project has provided scrumptious meals and fellowship to seniors, families and individuals. With so many people struggling to cope with the difficult economic times, we expect a considerable crowd and a larger need in the community this year. Tickets are not required. Just join us at the Clovis Senior Center by noon on Thanksgiving Day.

One Enchanted Evening!

One Enchanted Evening!

One Enchanted Evening is one of Old Town’s most anticipated events! Thousands of people come down to enjoy the old-fashioned holiday open house. This year’s event will be held tonight, Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5 to 8pm.

There will be groups of Carolers to lift your spirits with their holiday songs; hot chocolate made specially by groups of Santa’s elves (aka Bank of the Sierra); and cozy shops wrapped up in their holiday best. Luminaries will light the way through the dark of the night and horse drawn carriage rides add to the magic of this special event.

Participating Merchants will be taking your raffle tickets for a drawing of "Old Town Scrip" in $250, $150 and $100 denominations.  This is Old Town’s way of thanking our customers for a great year, and an enchanted night is in store for everyone, young and old!
