Relay For Life Fundraiser at Kastner

The Kastner track will host the 24 hour Relay For Life fundraiser May 3-4th.

This is an interactive, fun, energetic, emotional and supportive way to raise money and awareness about all types of cancer.

Relay for Life raises funds for The American Cancer Society.

ROP/CTE Summer Intensive

There will be an ROP (Regional Occupational Program) summer camp for current 7th-10th graders.  The focus of the camp is to introduce students to a variety of career pathways.  Camp courses will include Automotive Technology, Construction Science and Electronic Systems, Culinary Arts, Medical Careers, and Welding.  The camp is free and will run from June 9th-12th from 8:00am-12:00pm.  Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off in the counseling center.  The deadline to register is May 23rd.

Old Town Clovis Wine Walk May 3rd

The Old Town Clovis Wine Walk returns on Saturday, May 3, 5-8:30 p.m.

Bank of the Sierra will provide a beautiful commemorative wine glass, and together with a list of merchants and wineries, you are on your way to stroll the streets of Old Town Clovis, tasting wine and learning about food pairings!
More than 20 wines---from local, Central Coast and northern California---will be in merchant’s store providing tastings and information on their wines. There are several new wineries this spring and old favorites, including winner of last year’s People’s Choice Award, Simonian Farms with 3 new wines in addition to their winning Pomegranate wine, blackberry, plum and apricot!

26th Annual Reedley Street Faire

The Reedley Downtown Association is thrilled to welcome back the Reedley Street Faire and Car Show on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 10 AM - 4 PM in downtown Reedley. The 26th annual faire will include a classic car show, carnival rides, crafts, food, beer garden, and live performances. To kick off the celebration, the Reedley Downtown Association is having a Street Faire Dinner on Saturday, May 3 from 5 PM - 9 PM. Guests will enjoy a teriyaki pulled pork dinner and beer garden while dancing to the music of a Beach Boys Tribute Band.

Castle Air Museum Open Cockpit Day, May 25th

Castle Air Museum, located at 5050 Santa Fe Drive in Atwater will be hosting its annual Open Cockpit Day event on Sunday, May 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

View nearly 60 vintage military aircraft with over 35 open for viewing!

There will be children's activities, including model airplane building, bounce house, law enforcement, and military vehicle displays, helicopter rides, fantastic food, and much more!

Witness the dedication of the museum's newest aircraft, the North American RA-5 Vigilante Reconnaissance Bomber, one of only 11 in existence!

Go aboard our former presidential (former Air Force One) aircraft for only $10 per person and see where former presidents Reagan and Clinton sat.

Admission is $12 adult, $8 senior (60 and over) $5 youth (6-17) children 5 and under, including active duty military free. General admission does not include presidential aircraft tours, those tours are $10 per person in addition to general admission.
