Central Cal ASA (Amateur Softball Association) proudly announces the Inaugural Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament on Saturday November 1st at Ridge Creek Dinuba Golf Course!

$125 Per Player includes: 4 Player Scramble Tournament, Golf Cart, Range Balls, Lunch, Shoe Bag, Golf Towel, Raffle prizes and a BCA Polo Shirt!

Central Cal ASA has raised over $50,000 for local charities over the last three years and now lends its support to increasing the awareness of the early detection of Breast Cancer.

Proceeds to benefit the local Breast Cancer Awareness Charities!

Fall Food Drive for Catholic Charities

Fall Food Drive for Catholic Charities

San Joaquin Memorial will be participating in the 2014 Fall Food Drive for Catholic Charities.

Rather than the usual food drives, this year it is our goal to bring in as many complete family of four Thanksgiving meals as possible.

This includes donating the following items:

  • $10 for a turkey
  • 1 can of cranberries
  • 2 cans of yams
  • 2 cans of green beans
  • 2 boxes of stuffing
  • 2 boxes of mashed potatoes
  • 1 can of chicken broth
  • 1 can of gravy
  • 1 bag of nuts
  • 1 can of olives

On Friday, October 24, encourage your family and friends to bring their food donations to the Memorial vs. Bullard football game.

Cans will be collected at the entrance to the football stadium. The donor will receive $1 off their admission ticket to the football game.

DJ and dancing under the stars, vendor booths, free wine tasting, no host bar and food by Two Sisters Bistro, real ghost hunters from Central California Paranormal Investigators, readings by Clairvoyant Jackie Harris, raffle, costume contest and more!
Fresno Bully Rescue is teaming up with Nonini Winery for this event.  Last year's event was highly successful and the winery is a perfect venue for a Halloween themed event.  The land has been in the Nonini family for over 100 years and is even said to be haunted.

United Way of Fresno Operation Shape Up Oct. 18

The annual United Way of Fresno County Operation: Fresno Shape Up event will be held Saturday, October 18th at Warmerdamn Field at Fresno State, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..

Approximately 300 children will work out with trainer Steve Sobonya, MMA Fighter Lavar Johnson, Pro Boxer Jenifer Alcorn, Current Fresno State Athletes and other former pros.

The purpose of the event is to get children active and teach them about simple exercises and nutrition that they can use at home.

George from Children’s Hospital, Timeout from Fresno State and Parker from the Fresno Grizzlies will all be out working with the children,

This is a Free event and includes breakfast, lunch and a Live United T-shirt for all the participants.
