Old Town Flea Market | Arts & Culture
“The Central Valley is the home of many artisan crafters, antique dealers, and vintage salvagers. What better way to bring them all together, but in the heart of Old Town Clovis! We want to introduce the Old Town Clovis Flea Market. A one-of-a-kind market focused on antique, vintage, repurposed, and handmade goods.” says Julie Gomes, co-producer of the Old Town Flea Market with Karen Chisum, to be held Saturday & Sunday June 8-9th at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds, in Old Town Clovis.
The Old Town Flea Market, a first of its kind in the Central Valley, comes to the Clovis Rodeo Grounds on Saturday & Sunday, June 8-9th. Gates open for sales as early as 8:00 am on Saturday, June 8th, rain or shine.
The vendors will set up their booths, flea market style, at the historic Old Town Clovis Rodeo Grounds. “They often have great stories to tell about each object they’ve found, repurposed or hand-crafted . I tell my customers, ‘if you want something with an aura of culture about it; something singular that can become a showcase piece in one’s home...well, then, our Old Town Flea Market is more apropos for that kind of treasure hunting.” adds Karen.
The two day-long Flea Market will feature food and shopping for a neighborhood atmosphere. Gates open for sales 8:00 a.m., rain or shine. Admission is $5 per person, kids under 12 free with parent. The event runs until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and until 2:00 on Sunday.
