TULARE – The 2014 Tulare County Fair, Sept. 10-14, offers a reduced admission cost and much more free entertainment for fairgoers of all ages.

 

Let’s Pretend Circus, presented multiple times daily, allows children to become tightrope walkers, wild animals, an animal trainer or a clown for a live theater experience designed to build confidence and creativity.

 

Walk on the Wild Side is an exhibit of exotic animals presented by a nonprofit animal refuge in Oregon. The exhibit will include a baby lion.

 

Procrastinators is an ensemble of drummers who turn five-gallon water jugs, stools and pots and pans into musical instruments as they jump, slide, twist and stomp through fast and furious rhythmic fun.

The search is on for a marrow donor for Justin Garza, Central High School varsity football coach.

Justin has lymphoma and needs a marrow match to stay healthy.

There is a Blood and Marrow Drive at the Central California Blood Center locations August 25-29 as well as at dozens of high schools and organizations who have stepped up to support Coach Garza.

You are invested to an informational meeting at 5:30 p.m. on September 10th at the Clovis Police Department.

They will discuss multiple ways citizens can volunteer including Citizens On Patrol, Chaplain, Animal Services and more.
